According to statements recorded at Old Kira Road Police Station by employees of the betting company, the suspects, armed with sharp pangas, threatened the cashiers and stole 2 million shillings and two Samsung M12 smartphones at around 11:40pm.
The gang is accused of raiding the vehicle of Daniel Echodu, the owner of Best Rates Forex Bureau located at Capital Shoppers Supermarket along the Ntinda-Nakawa road, on August 23 last year.
Moses Wegura, the Officer in Charge of Ntinda Police Station, said the fire was started by one of the police officer’s children in the barracks who was burning rubbish inside the house.
