Arua Diocese Surrenders Parish to Police as Catholics Evict Priests on Corruption Accusations 3 2

The diocese of Arua was forced to evacuate the three priests to Ediofe Cathedral parish for their safety and handed their residence and the parish buildings to the police for protection. Monsignor Kasto guided that the Christians of Oluko Parish should seek for all pastoral care in the nearby chapels and zonal centers.

Angry Youths Evict Three Priests from Oluko Catholic Parish 4 3 Top story

Police also whisked off two other priests only identified as Fr. Alphonse and Fr. Francis for their own safety as the angry youths tried to charge at them. The youths accused Rev. Fr. Kennedy Oziga of among others withdrawing over Shillings 12 million from the Parish account meant for construction, selling of bricks prepared by the Christians and Eucalyptus trees planted by the Christians.
