Matovu, the proprietor of Our Lady Schools was appointed by the Kingdom in April this year replacing Elijah Bogeere Lubangamulembya. He was appointed together with two deputies: Moses Ssenyonjo, the Director of St. Mary’s and Mother Kevin SS Lugazi and Fred Katende, an officer at the procurement department of Nkumba University.
The gardens are being established in Ngongwe, Nyenga, Nakifuma, and Buikwe sub-counties, each covering approximately 2 acres. According to the County Chief (Ssekiboobo) Vincent Bintubizibu Matovu, the initiative aims to eradicate poverty in the area and strengthen the Kingdom.
