Section 94 of the PPDA act stipulates that the Authority, may following the recommendation of a Procuring and Disposing Entity or after investigations on its own initiative suspend a provider from engaging in any procurement and disposal process for a period determined by the Authority.
The disagreement stems from the award of a tender for the collection of revenue from Busika Taxi Park which was awarded to Busika Cooperative Society, the company with a lower offer of remitting 2.7 million Shillings annually to the district. The councilors question why another bidder Tukole Bukozi Busika Cooperative Society with an offer of 4.1 million Shillings was rejected.
