The suspect, identified as Josephine Namatovu, a 31-year-old single mother and resident of Mpakawero Lufula village in Nyimbwa sub-county, is accused of killing 12-year-old, Caroline Tumwesigye.
Sam Twiineamazima, the Acting Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson says that the deceased had a long-term domestic misunderstanding with his wife and, according to neighbours, they fought quite often. But this time around, she used a breakable plate to hit him on the head.
According to Sam Twineamazima, the Acting Savannah Regional Police spokesperson, officers from Bombo Police Station, together with Luwero Central Police Station (CPS), are actively looking into the case. He explains that Preliminary findings suggest that the deceased, who had come from Kampala early in the morning, had a quarrel with his wife, Nawaigo.
