In the agreement, the teacher and the school are to pay the sum in two installments, beginning on December 2, 2024, and concluding on March 2, 2025. Additionally, the court instructed that the teacher and the school must continue covering Obadia’s medical treatment until he fully recovers.
Obadia was beaten in September 2023 and admitted at Soroti Regional Hospital, from where he was discharged in February without any improvement. But his family failed to raise enough money for his specialised treatment, leaving him to rot at home.
