“So far we have three suspects, among them there is one who was arrested and was found sleeping under the bridge of the flyover, near the crime scene. He has led us to other two of his colleagues over the weekend,” Owoyesigyire said.
According to Lucky Milly Nakyobe, Nantongo's sister, the last conversation with Agnes occurred at 4:00 PM when Nantongo mentioned she would leave work at 7:00 PM. Despite this, Nantongo's phone remained unreachable throughout the night.
During Monday's operations in Bugolobi and Naguru, four ex-convicts, including Benon Mutebi, Sharif Ssenfuma (aka Shisha), and Daniel Ziwa Dan Kiwanuka, were arrested by the Jinja Road Police Division. All these individuals had criminal records with the police.
