On Wednesday, Betty Namukwaya the Nakasongola District Secretary for Finance tabled before the district council a proposed budget for the financial year 2025/26 which was estimated at 38. 1 billion shillings.
Sam Kigula the LC 5 Chairman of Nakasongola district said that in the interest of service delivery, the Executive members have resolved to attend the sittings despite their opposition to the idea of rotational sittings.
On November 20th, Edward Kitonsa, the Clerk to Nakasongola District Council, wrote to David M. Bukenya, the Senior Assistant Secretary (SAS) of Wabinyonyi Sub-county, requesting a hall to host the council sitting scheduled for 9:00 am on Friday, November 29th, 2024.
