Delivering the judgment on Tuesday, Ekirita revealed that the prosecution had failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Labeja had directly fought Abalo. The court noted that although Abalo had told her family members that Labeja had fought her, this testimony was not sufficient to secure a conviction.
The cases were reported from Ocettoke East village, where a family of seven was rushed to Kitgum General Hospital (KGH) after exhibiting symptoms of cholera.
