Bafida Agoyo, a 28-year-old Congolese mother of four, was transported to Gulu on July 1, 2024, for reintegration after leaving the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence training camp in Migera.
“I still see the faces of the men who sank, and there isn’t any accountability or explanation as to how they died. Their bodies still sit in the belly of the water,” Bazilo’s elderly son, Samuel Olara, recalls.
After the fall of Amin's Government that brought Dr. Milton Obote to power for the second time, Bazilo remained frustrated by the lack of accountability in Obote's regime.
