Speaking to moneylending agents in Paidha Town Council Wednesday, authorities warned that failure to comply will result in drastic action. Assistant RDC Zombo, Bruno Mananu Ubomba, revealed that numerous complaints have been lodged by residents who face significant hardships after their IDs were seized by lenders.
Ayikubua, in an interview with our reporter on Saturday, revealed that several chiefs and Parish Development Committees (PDCs) are giving out the funds to their spouses, siblings, and close relatives, demanding exorbitant amounts from needy actual beneficiaries, depriving them of the chance to benefit from the fund.
Ayikobua made the decision during an impromptu inspection visit to the school on Thursday, March 13, 2025, alongside his assistant, Bruno Mananu Ubombo.
