Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the FDC Secretary General, said there was no reason for police to block them from speaking to Besigye. He said they are ready to launch a fight on Tuesday to ensure Besigye is produced in court for his bail application.
Besigye was airlifted from Moroto district this morning aboard a chartered plane following an application by Gerald Amalo Peter, the Moroto Resident State Attorney before the Chief Magistrate, Charles Yeteise.
Three men two other Kenyans have been arrested in Moroto for alleged arms trafficking. They are Peter Amadoi from Kitale Kenya, Loito Ekadel from Lokiliyama in Kenya and Ben Okello, a resident of Pallisa district.
