Odongo was presenting to Parliament a statement on missing persons where he noted that out of the list of 423 people presented by NUP, they only know 58 of these who have been verified, on Thursday.

In his statement, Odongo said that in Mukono, four people were kidnapped. They include Male Musa, Kamata Muhammad, Kagimu Musa and Kiberu Julius.

The Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo has this afternoon been tasked to explain the new wave of kidnaps and murders across the country.

According to Namayanjas family, her kidnappers have been sending them messages using her phone telling them not to look for their daughter and warning them not to involve police if they want to see her alive again.

It came several hours after the duo was reportedly kidnapped by six men from their home in Bwole cell in Bugiri town council in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
