Brig. Joseph Ssemwanga, the Commandant of the Armored Brigade says they have received intelligence reports about a group of people going around the sub region, meeting and registering youths with intent of recruiting them into suspected rebel activity.
Stephen Agaba, the Moyo District Police Commander, says they have collected sufficient evidence implicating the FDC official, adding that they have forwarded his file to the Resident State Attorney for sanctioning.
More six men have this evening been charged before Buganda Road Court for allegedly recruiting Ugandans into the M23 rebel activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
