Traders in Kitgum town held a requiem mass for two vendors who died in a road accident along Kitgum â€“ Kidepo road Tuesday morning. The interdenominational prayers for the dead and injured were held at Kitgum Bus Park.
The dead are identified as Efrance Namwanje, a resident of Wakayamba village in Wakyato Sub County, Sarah Yaka of Mbikko village in Kikamulo Sub County, Nalumansi Nakavuma and another only identified as Willy a resident of Nnongo in Kikamulo Sub County.
In an interview with URN, Apollo Lubwama, Supervisor, Process Management Division, URA, says that the driving schools will be required to submit names of learners during the application process. Adding that permits shall be issued to those who have attended driving lessons from licensed driving schools.
