The suspects are Vicent Omoroch, Pithuwa Richard and Stephen Kasamba, all residents of Theyagu village Diima parish Mutunda sub county Kiryandongo district.

Kigezi Region Police spokesperson Elly Maate says that police patrol intercepted the suspects and detained them since they had no permits to transport animals from one place to another. The suspects are being held at Kabale Police station for questioning.
