According to Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, this partnership will use the sounding of the Gwanga Mujje drum in the villages translated as “all of you come” a drum that was sounded in the olden days in times of trouble to rally the people to a common cause for example fighting invaders. To him, Covid-19 is a lion that has attacked and people need to come together to fight it hence the sounding of this drum.
On Sunday night, Gerald Kyanjo Kimbugwe, the Buganda Kingdom representative in Buruuli County transported a container to the disputed land in Nakasongola town to set up a temporary office. This followed a botched attempt to construct permanent offices on the said land because of wrangles between Buganda Kingdom and Buruuli chiefdom.

A team of medics has pitched camp at Katabi Town council headquarters in Wakiso town to attend to attend to people with various ailments. Stephen Ssegaluma, the caretaker of the forest says he has failed to manage the whole forest that serves as a source of wood, timber and firewood for people close to it at Buswa Village.
