According to Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, this partnership will use the sounding of the Gwanga Mujje drum in the villages translated as “all of you come” a drum that was sounded in the olden days in times of trouble to rally the people to a common cause for example fighting invaders. To him, Covid-19 is a lion that has attacked and people need to come together to fight it hence the sounding of this drum.
On Sunday night, Gerald Kyanjo Kimbugwe, the Buganda Kingdom representative in Buruuli County transported a container to the disputed land in Nakasongola town to set up a temporary office.
