The Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) will be more self-sustaining and efficient in response following the introduction of the Uganda Red Cross Society Bill 2019.
The items were mobilized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, with a donation of tarpaulins and blankets worth 290 million Shillings and UNICEF with a donation of Aqua Tabs worth 70 million Shillings, channelled through the Office of the Prime Minister and Uganda Red Cross Society.
Police crime report, says that 589 accidents occurred in Greater Luweero region in 2014. The report indicates that 90 were fatal, 314 serious and 185 minor accidents. The reports indicate that the Kampala-Gulu highway records at least one accident per week.
