The Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) will be more self-sustaining and efficient in response following the introduction of the Uganda Red Cross Society Bill 2019.

Police crime report, says that 589 accidents occurred in Greater Luweero region in 2014. The report indicates that 90 were fatal, 314 serious and 185 minor accidents. The reports indicate that the Kampala-Gulu highway records at least one accident per week.
