On Sunday night, Gerald Kyanjo Kimbugwe, the Buganda Kingdom representative in Buruuli County transported a container to the disputed land in Nakasongola town to set up a temporary office. This followed a botched attempt to construct permanent offices on the said land because of wrangles between Buganda Kingdom and Buruuli chiefdom.
Fire has gutted the palace of the Kabaka of Buganda in Nakasongola district. The fire broke out at around 9pm on Thursday night and destroyed parts of the palace.
