Phillip Katahoire, the Kingdom's Minister for External Relations says that the disposal, waste management, and recycling system of plastic waste remains inefficient yet plastics cause a big threat to humans and the environment.

Locally known as Empango, the day is marked on June 11, every year. Empango is a celebration to mark the day, the reigning king ascended to the throne. Its an important function in Bunyoro and Tooro; it\'s during the ceremony that the king gives the state of the Kingdom address. A series of cultural rituals also are performed at the palace and the various kingdom historical sites, to appease the ancestors.
Enanga notes that preliminary police investigations show that the attempt on the king's life is as a result of the conflict in the palace between the King and the queen Margaret Karungi together with two Princess Daphine Kabatalesa and Doreen Kabasunga
The 25-year old Princess Kabatalesa disagreed with her father's choice of a new Principal Private Secretary (PPS) and on November 2 wrote a letter sacking him. To ensure her decision received maximum attention, the letter sacking the newly appointed Omukama PPS Jonan Atuhura was circulated to the local press.
