The suspects are Gallas Kakyetero from Nyakabungo cell, Buhara Sub County Youth chairperson Alex Arineitwe, Rweene parish Chairman Silva Karimunda, former Central division Speaker Julius Tituryebwa, and Kirigime ward councillor Richard Muhanguzi.

Navison Kidega, the Gulu Resident District Commissioner is in trouble over a stolen United Nations vehicle that was found hidden at his home. The vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser whose registration number the police declined to reveal, was reportedly stolen from the United Nations Mission in Darfur-UNAMID two weeks ago. Two of the most powerful men in Arua district local government openly clashed during a meeting on Thursday. Arua LC 5 chairperson Wadri Sam Nyakua and the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Ibrahim Abiriga clashed over the decision by the RDC to allow disco operators in the villages.
Ibrahim Abiriga, the Arua RDC has today ordered Arua municipal council officials to suspend the eviction of kiosk operators from the central business district saying the market construction should be completed first.
