Dr. Abel Rwendeire, the committee chairperson told URN on Tuesday that they are only waiting for an opportunity to meet and handover the report to the president, who is the Visitor, or overall supervisor, of all public universities. The Rwendeire Committee commenced its work in November 2016 following the closure of the university at the height of strikes by staff and students. The staff laid down tools over unpaid incentives while students protested lecturers boycott of classes.
