The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga has directed the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Health to clear the air regarding a plan by government to export over 200 health workers to Trinidad and Tobago. Kadaga\'s directive follows concerns raised by some members of the health committee, who contend that the move by government is bound to create a massive gap in the already crippled health sector.
Alupo who was speaking at the installation of the new Gulu University Chancellor professor Frederic Ian Bantubano Kayanja at the University graduation grounds said that in the next financial year which begins in July, professors will be paid fifteen million shillings and the rest of the salaries will be scaled down according to seniority.
