The disagreement stems from a letter Jude Mbabaali wrote to the Minister of Education and Sports early this month, protesting the allocation of a 2.12 billion Shillings grant to Turbuk Senior Secondary School, a Muslim founded government-aided school located in Mukungwe Sub County.
Under the project, urban transportation terminals for buses, lorry parks and market stalls for vendors will be built alongside urban solid and liquid waste management systems, drainage and storm water management systems.
Robert Langwen, the chairperson Gulu Municipal Works and Technical services, says a final project document presented to his committee confirms that the division has been omitted from the project. He says the move will cause imbalance in the development of the Municipality.
