Pieter W. I. de Baan, the Executive Director of the Trust Fund for Victims says the six organizations will receive a minimum grant of 50,000 Euros approximately 212 Million shillings to continue implementing assistance programme for physical rehabilitation, psychological rehabilitation as well as material support for victims of the conflict.
Scott says the Fund which has since disbursed 8.75 Million Euros approximately 39 Billion shillings since 2008 in Northern Uganda, currently disburse an average of 1.2 million Euros about 5.3 Billion shillings annually.
The judge will meet thousands of LRA victims now receiving assistance from the Trust Fund For Victims.The fund which is an independent arm of the International Criminal Court offers interim support to victims whose issues can not wait until reparations are ordered by court.
