Michael Ongwara, the Moroto District Police Commander, says the suspects were found in possession of Uganda Shillings 26, 840, 000 and Kenya Shillings 331, 000 Kenya shillings in counterfeit currencies.
The Moroto Chief Administrative Officer, Martin Jachan Gwokto and his Kaabong counterpart, Richard Bukone Sajjabi, have confirmed receiving Shillings 852 million each for the construction works.
