Christine Muhwezi, an eyewitness told URN that trouble started after Byarugaba found about 12 people drinking alcohol and playing cards for money in Ndyareeba’s bar. According to Muhwezi, Byarugaba demanded an explanation from Ndyareeba why he hosts people mostly school going children to participate in gambling.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning at around 06:40AM at Nyakanengo in Muhanga town council along Kabale-Mbarara High way when a commuter Taxi registration number UBD 384M that was heading to Mubende district from Kisoro made a head on collision with another registration number UBD 143J that was heading to Kabale from Mbarara.

The deceased, Francis Sebategyeza Alias Kisizi, a resident of Kagarama cell, was found dead in the morning hours on February 10, 2018. His body was found lying along the road, about 500 meters from his home.

The deceased has been identified as Deus Twinomugisha, a resident of Murambi cell, Nyarurambi parish Rwamucucu Sub County in Rukiga District. Twinomugishas body was discovered on Friday morning at around 05:30am about two kilometres away from his home.
