The students on Wednesday stormed the District headquarters in a peaceful demonstration to express their dissatisfaction over the administration.They accuse the head teacher Fred Ojara of exercising dictatorship, promoting tribalism, failing to account for entertainment funds for last term and cancelling the visitation Day.
Dr. Christine Dranzoa, the Chairperson of the University Task force says at least 100 students will be admitted on government sponsorship and more 100 others on private sponsorship. She says the student population will increase upon completion of the campus structures.
Moyo Secondary School in Moyo district is struggling to pay debts amounting to 88 million shillings, with accusing fingers pointing to the former head teacher for accumulating them. David Dima was transferred to Mvara Secondary School in Arua district.
