Kato Besisira, the Kanungu Assistant District Health Officer in charge of Environmental health who is also the Chairperson of the district Ebola Taskforce told our reporter that screening facilities have been placed at the Ishasha and Butogota entry points to make sure that any person crossing to Uganda is thoroughly checked.
According to Paison Byomuhangi, Kasiro village LC1 Chairman, Ahereza joined Tugumisirize in a group of others at Keti Ninsiima’s bar and started drinking alcohol. However, the two developed a misunderstanding and started fighting.
In the process, Ahereza pushed Tugumisirize down hard and she died instantly.
Byomuhangi says that when Tugumisirize died, Ahereza took off, but other revelers chased him. He was caught and beaten to death in revenge.
