Napak Parents Miss Children They Sent to Kampala to Beg Napak district 2 6

Kenya Longoli, one of the parents, talks of seven children from his village who were rounded up in the streets of Kampala but they do not know the organization that carried out the operations and where the children were taken. But Mary Agan Apuun, the District Community Development Officer for Napak says it is hard to believe that the parents do not know where their children are because they are the ones who facilitate them to travel to Kampala.

Two Remanded for Child Trafficking in Napak In Napak district 2 1

The suspects identified as Beye Asuman, and Anna Sagal both residents of Toyep toto village in Iriiri Sub County, Napak district were arrested on Wednesday after a tip off from the community. Both culprits were nabbed with four girls aged between 12 and 15 years old who were ready for a transit to Kenya's capital city Nairobi for casual labor.
