Two women claiming to be wives of the leader of the Lordâ€™s Resistance Army (LRA) Joseph Kony, have been arrested South Sudan. The women, who were found moving with a child in Tombura County at the South Sudan border with the Central African Republic, were captured on Wednesday last week.
Retiring Chief Justice Benjamin Odoki will stay in office for at least three more months as the Judicial Service Commission looks for his successor. The Judicial Service Commission chairperson, Justice James Ogoola, told Members of Parliament today that the chief judge would stay in office until the 23rd of June 2013.

The Ministry of Health has acquired 100 million US Dollars to renovate five hospitals in the country. The hospitals to be renovated include Kitagata, Yumbe, Abim, Busolwe hospitals and Uganda Cancer Institute at Mulago hospital. However, it is not yet clear when the renovation will start off.
