Former National High Jump Champion Suffers Heart Attack 2 2

Patrick Etolu, the former high jump national champion is battling for his life at Soroti Referral Hospital. The 78-year-old former national champion was rushed to hospital on Thursday last week after he suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Asinge cell in Madera ward in Soroti Municipality. Etolu was part of the maiden team, which represented Uganda in the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia. He also held the national high-jump record of 1.96 meters from the mid 1950\'s until 1999.
