At least 400 hectares of Namugongo peninsula was cleared by unknown people for settlement. It comes a day after Mayuge district natural resources department ordered the eviction of encroachers from the peninsula.

Charles Okello, the officer in charge Kakumiro Police station says that Karumuna rushed to the lodge after receiving information that, Ijusa was on her way to her parentâ€™s home in Kabale district following a domestic dispute.
