Boy Struggles With Heart Disease As Family Fails To Raise UGX 6M 1 1

Financially constrained Sylvia Nassanga, mother to 11 year old Charles Musoke, is struggling to get him a heart surgery. Doctors say Musoke suffers from Constrictive Pericarditis, a condition resulting from an inflammation of the heart membrane. Out of six million shillings needed for the surgery, the family from Nakifuma in Mukono district has only managed to raise 300,000 shillings. Meanwhile the sickness is eating Musoke away. For an 11 year old boy, Musoke looks like he is only six years or less.
