Nakaseke Hospital Fined UGX35million over Doctors Negligence

The verdict by Justice Benjamin Kabiito followed a successful lawsuit against Nakaseke District Local Government that held the hospital liable for the death of Irene Nanteza. Evidence showed that Nanteza was admitted into the hospital at 1:35pm on May 5, 2011 with a dilation of 8cm which signifies a second stage of labor.
