Kinyara Sugar Factory has increased sugarcane price from Shillings 66, 700 a ton to Shillings 72,000. Masilaman Mathivanan, the Agricultural Manager Kinyara Sugar Limited says the increment was agreed on after a week long negotiations with Masindi Sugarcane Growers Association Limited. He however, declined to explain what prompted the price increment.
