Ntagali: Nkoyoyo Was My Mentor 1

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Stanley Ntagali has said his predecessor, Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo, was also his mentor. Ntagali served under Nkoyoyo as Provincial Secretary from 2002 to 2004 when the former became Bishop of Masindi Kitara Diocese as the latter retired as archbishop.

An additional 65, out of 96 judicial officers made their declarations from the judiciary and 1,419 leaders in the Uganda Police Force declared their assets out of an expectation of 3,163 declarations. So far, 2,683 local government leaders have declared their assets out of 4,758 leaders.

Nkoyoyo Asked to be Buried at Namugongo

Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo wrote to the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira requesting to be buried at the Uganda Anglican Martyrs Shrine, Namugongo. Bishop Luwalira revealed this at St Pauls Cathedral, Namirembe on Sunday night, during a requiem service for Archbishop Nkoyoyo who died on Friday aged 80 years.
