Dott Services Given New Contract for Tirinyi-Mbale Road 1 Top story

Uganda National Roads Authority UNRA has signed a new contract with Dott Services Limited to continue with the construction works of Nakalama-Tirinyi Mbale Road. The road reconstruction works are estimated to last for 22 months and will kick-off in two weeks time, according to the contract signed on March 23, 2018.

South African Court Blocks Repatriation of Suspect in Magara Killing patrick agaba

Two detectives sent to South Africa to repatriate Patrick Agaba, a key suspect in the kidnap and killing of Susan Magara have returned empty handed. Lawyers of the suspect yesterday secured a court injunction blocking the officers from bringing him back to Uganda shortly before they were due to board a plane, Uganda Radio Network has learnt.

Rukutana Denies Siring Child with Judge age limit debate 1

Deputy Attorney General Mwesigwa Rukutana has described allegations that he fathered a child with Justice Elizabeth Musoke as false, malicious, unfounded and defamatory. In a March 29, 2018 letter to the Deputy Chief Justice, Rukutana, also Member of Parliament for Rushenyi County in Ntungamo County, was responding to a letter by Male Kiwanuka Mabirizi, one of the petitioners challenging the amendment of the Constitution to scrap Article 102b that had previously barred all Ugandan citizens aged below 35 and above 75 from contesting for presidency.

Fake Agrochemicals Confiscated From Masaka Supply Stores 4

The agrochemicals were impounded during an impromptu operation conducted by a team of inspectors and the Agriculture Police unit. UBTEB to Release Diploma, Certificate Exam Results 1

The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board UBTEB will today release results of diploma and certificate programmes. A total of 30180 candidates sat for the examinations. Of these candidates, 22,862 were males while only 7,318 candidates were females.
