The Uganda National Athletics team commenced intensive preparations for the 19th World Athletics Championships set to take place in Budapest, Hungary from August 19th to 27th, 2023. The training camp, which began on July 3rd, is scheduled to conclude on August 20th.
The contingent consists of over 20 dedicated athletes who are currently residing at Trinity Biblical Institute in Kapchorwa. The athletes are under the expert guidance of the national coach and Vice President of Technical at Uganda Athletics Federation (UAF), Benjamin Njia.
Our reporter visited the training sessions and camp and captured some moments on camera.
