URA Humbles Onduparaka 2-1 At Green Light Stadium

URA FC has humbled Onduparaka FC 2-1 at the Green Light Stadium in Arua town. The game, which started off in favor of the hosts, changed towards the end of the first half when URA’s Cromwell Rwothmio found the net in the 27th minute.

Rwothmio converted a pass in the 49th minute of the game giving URA a comfortable lead over their hosts. 

Onduparaka managed to pull back one goal in the 93rd minute after Gadhafi Wahab converted a penalty kick making it 2-1. The URA Head Coach, Sam Simbwa, says they deserved to win the game because of their smart tactics,

Adams Lematia, the Spokesperson of Onduparaka FC, said their players were fatigued, which resulted in a poor game, saying they had just returned from five away games. He however, says there is hope for the Caterpillars to get back on track.

URA, which had 6 points on the Uganda Premier league table now moves to 9

points while Onduparaka FC remains at the top with 15 points. The Caterpillars will next face the ‘Kassasiro’ Boys (KCCA) at Green light stadium.
