Former MP John Arumadri Laid to Rest.

The Forum for Democratic Change-FDC founder member, John Drazu Arumadri was buried on Tuesday.

The two term MP for Madi Okollo. Constituency John Drazu Arumadri  died early in week  Rt. Reverend Linus Wanok, the Bishop of Lira Catholic Diocese, who Presided over the burial Mass said late Arumadri will be remembered as a man of prayer who lived a clear and simple life. 

He disclosed that due to his love for the Church, the Late John Arumadri gave up part of his personal land to Ediofe cathedral Cemetery for free to bury the faithful, an offer no one has ever done in the region.

  Dr. Kiza Besigye, the former FDC party President who was the Chief Mourner described late John Arumadri as a leader who has been able to unite people from all walks of life regardless of their differences.

Alice Akello, the Resident City Commissioner Arua challenged political leaders against preaching politics of divisionism, adding that often times leaders are bitter at each other, making life hard for their subjects.   

// Cue in; God did not create.…// Cue out; who is lying down here…. //   Meanwhile Mario Obiga Kania, the State Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, MP Terego East and a former school mate to late Arumadri who represented government at the burial challenged leaders to leave a balanced leadership legacy.  

// Cue in; The issue should not.…// Cue out; balanced this John was…. //   Hundreds of FDC party leaders and supporters led by the party President Patrick Oboi Amuriat attended the burial.

,Religious, Cultural leaders, MPs and former MPs from W. Nile and dignitaries from within and outside W. Nile attended the burial at Ediofe.
