According to police, the Ambulance which was being driven by Moses Adimalo is reported to have collided with a boda boda motorcycle, a Bajaj Boxer Reg. No. UEA. 516K on Friday evening. Twalibu Ssennyondo was riding the boda boda motorcycle.
The knocked motorcycle at the scene of the accident in Luwero
Two female juveniles have died on
the spot and another person sustained serious injuries in a fatal road accident
involving an Ambulance and a boda boda motorcycle at Katikamu, about 49 kilometers
into Luwero district, along the Kampala-Gulu highway. '
The Ambulance involved, a Land Cruiser Registration Number
is UBF. 391E belongs to Kiwoko
Hospital in Nakaseke district.

The Savannah Regional
police spokesperson Isah Ssemwogerere tells Uganda Radio Network (URN) that the
yet to be identified deceased girls were passengers on the boda boda motorcycle.
He says the rider of the motorcycle and a yet to be identified female adult who was in the Ambulance were
rushed to Njovu Clinic in Wobulenzi town with the former in a life-threatening
Ssemwogerere says the boda boda and the Ambulance involved in the accident were towed to Wobulenzi
police station as the force continues investigating the cause of the accident.
On Monday one person died and eleven (11) others
sustained injuries in a fatal road accident at Kakinzi approximately 69
kilometers into Luwero district along the same Kampala-Gulu highway.
The accident occurred after a Scania Bus belonging to California Bus
Company Registration Number UAP 161F from destined for
Arua swerved off the road.
According to the Savannah Regional Traffic Officer Assistant
Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mable Asingirwe, the accident happened after the
bus tried to avoid a head-on collision with another bus an Isuzu belonging to Nile
Star Bus Company Reg. No. UBF 619T which was coming from Adjumani heading to Kampala.
