12 people who were quarantined in Lira District have been discharged.
They were being quarantined at Lira School of Comprehensive Nursing. They
include five people from Apac, three from Kole and four from Lira.
Those from Apac include a woman who travelled from Lira to Loro Town Council
together with the first Kenyan truck driver who tested positive for COVID- 19
earlier last month.She was quarantined together with her husband.
Dr Edmond Acheka, the Assistant DHO who is currently supervising
the quarantine facility explained that four out of seven people remaining at
the quarantine centre will have to be re-tested again before being discharged.
