Eighteen
prospective Local Defense Personal-LDF recruits in Wakiso district are in trouble for presenting
forged academic documents and National Identity cards.
The suspects
were arrested when they showed up for interviews at the First Division Headquarters in Kakiri, Wakiso District.
Maj. Charles Kabona, the Spokesperson of the UPDF First Division, says that some of the suspects presented documents that don’t belong
to them.

The applicants are from Mityana, Kassanda, Mubende, Mpigi, Wakiso, Kampala, Kyankwanzi, Kiboga,
Nakaseke and Luwero district.
The exercise, which kicked off
this morning will end on September 10th, 2021.
Maj. Kabona says with the exception of isolated cases, the exercise is moving on smoothly.
