A 30-year old man in Hoima has been sentenced to 6-years in jail for defilement.
Necko Kakuru, of Mburara village in Kyangwali Sub county Hoima district, was yesterday found guilty of defiling a 12-year-old girl- a pupil at Butoole Primary school in Kyangwali sub-county.
Prosecution told a fully packed court yesterday that in August 2005, Kakuru wooed the girl to his marital bedroom in the absence of his wife
