The 13 year old girl who escaped from the home of the man who had abducted her
has asked police to ensure that they investigate the case carefully so that her kidnapper can be sentenced to death.
The girl says she would like to see Mukiibi Isma, the man who kidnapped her at age 9, harshly dealt with by the law.
She confirms that Mukiibi used her as a sex slave during the four years he held her captive. She was also forced to work in Mukiibi\'s gardens and grow the food they relied on for survival.
She says she was not Mukiibi\'s only victim. She narrates that she found Mukiibi had already brought two other young girls to his home.
The girls told her that they had been entrusted into Mukiibi\'s care by their parents. Their parents, however, did not know that the girls were also being defiled by Mukiibi.
The victim was abducted from her relatives in Kiyuni, Mubende district, in 2009 when their home was attacked and her grandmother, Nansasi Tereza was strangled to death.
Until her escape, she had no idea that her grandmother had been killed during the attack.
She says her grandmother was one of the people she was most looking forward to reuniting with.
The victim\'s uncle Lutaaya Geoffrey says his niece is prepared to pursue the case to its end. He says she is determined to ensure that Mukiibi is severely punished by the law for his cruelty.
Meanwhile, Mukiibi has been charged in the Mubende chief magistrate’s court with murder and abduction, and remanded to Kaweeri prison.
