Acholi Province has reinstated two of its sacked technical staff and team captain ahead of the second leg of the FUFA DRUM quarter-finals.

The Acholi Province management last month indefinitely suspended head Coach Geoffrey Akena, Kits manager Walter, and Team Captain Denis Oola Jemba.   They were accused of spreading rumors to incite their colleagues and fans to demand the removal of the Acholi Province Chairperson Bernard Loum on allegations of mismanagement of funds.

However, the three have been recalled and asked to join the province`s training camp ahead of the anticipated clash with former Champions, Buganda Province on Sunday in Luwero District.

There have been several meetings of Acholi province fans, management, and FUFA among others seeking to establish unity and cohesion within the province players and technical department.

Simon Kakaum, the Acholi Province Media Officer says that the earlier suspension of the three has been lifted adding that they were already notified to join the team.

He, however, did not disclose the findings against the trio in regard to the allegations that were levied against them.

The 25-man squad team on Thursday set off for Luweero where they will enter a residential training camp.

The Acholi Province Team Captain, Denis Oola Jemba says that everything between the players and technical team has been harmonized and pledged that they are determined to win the forthcoming match.
