All Saints Cathedral Mourns Dr.Ndyanabangi

Dr Ndyanabangi has also been a Canon in the church, a parishioner and peoples Warden at A;ll Saints Cathedral Church.

All Saints Cathedral Church is mourning the late Sheila Ndyanabangi. Dr Ndyanabangi passed away on Saturday morning at Mulago hospital's Intensive Care Unit where she was admitted on Tuesday.

Dr Ndyanabangi who has also been a Canon in the church was born in 1956. She has been a parishioner and people's Warden at the church. At the time of her death, she has been serving as the National Tobacco Control Focal person at the Ministry of Health.

Reverend Canon Grace Ssentongo who last saw the deceased on Tuesday says that the church Community is going to miss a Christian who served the Church wholeheartedly.

Dr Ndyanabangi has also served several ministries within Kampala Diocese. She served as a Member of the Cathedral Council, President of Mothers Union, and Treasurer at All Saints Cathedral.

She was also a Marriage Councillor at the Church and often organized cancer and mental health awareness campaigns at the church.

Reverend Captain Florence Tumwesigye, a priest at All Saints Cathedral says that the entire church community is going to miss the deceased. She described Ndyanabangi as a Christian who served God passionately.

Grace Murengyezi, a Member of Senior Mothers Union also says Dr Ndyanabangi will be remembered as a strong advocate for women and mental health within the church community.

“She was a strong pillar for so many women and people within the church community. She continuously urged women to go and get tested for all sorts of cancers. She was our community doctor who worked tirelessly to spread awareness about cancer and mental health."
