Kyakuwa and other leaders restrained the residents against torching the vehicle that was carrying one goat.  They took the vehicle and goat to Naama Police Station pending further investigations.

Residents blame the theft of their animals on youths who do not want to work and resort to quick ways of earning. Kizza Senkungu, one of the residents said that was is painful is that after slaughtering their animals the thieves leave behind notes telling them they can eat the offal.
