Another Ugandan Murdered in South Sudan.

A 20 year-old Ugandan dealing in charcoal was today morning beaten to death by a group of South Sudanese nationals.

A 20 year-old Ugandan trading in charcoal was today morning beaten to death by a group of South Sudanese nationals in the capital Juba.

The victim identified as Magidu Amati from Aringa county, Apo Sub County in Yumbe district was reportedly killed at 4 00am according to the Police in Aruu junction in Juba county, Central Equatorial.

The deceased was reportedly home his way home from a night club when he was attacked and beaten to death by a group of South Sudanese men.

Two South Sudanese nationals identified as James Aloro and Thomas Ladu are currently being held at Aruu junction police post in relation to the murder.

By the time of filling this report, Amati\'s body, covered in blood was lying in Kuriri Panyan, in Aruu junction, the area in which he was killed.

Issa Chazze, a Ugandan trader in Aruu junction told URN that as traders in the area, they are trying to negotiate for a vehicle to carry the body to Juba were a postmorterm can be done.

He said the South Sudan Police was yet to respond to their request for assistance to transport the body to a hospital mortuary.

Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Police spokesperson for Aswa Region said Uganda police in the region was not yet aware of the matter.

Yasin Azabo, the brother to the deceased told URN that the family suspects he was killed by robbers in the night. He says the family was informed on phone about his death.

His death brings to four the number of Ugandans killed in South Sudan since the year started. In December 2014, three Ugandans working and living in the South Sudan town of Bor were shot dead by a policeman in Bor market for unclear reasons.
